We visited Tortosa on our way travelling through Spain and visited this restaurant last night. The salmon was probably the best salmon I’ve ever had! The waitress was friendly and professional. Decor is beautiful. Loved this place!

Without doubt one of my best eating experiences in Spain. We had the menu de renacimiento at a fixed price of €35. There was a series of starters which kept on appearing followed by a choice of either bacalao or lamb. The lamb was slow roasted in a prune sauce - it just fell off the bone. Absolutely delicious. One of my friends has various food allergies which were accommodated without fuss. The service was faultless. Excellent ambience. Those wooden chairs look fabulous but please get rid of them; they become uncomfortable after 2 minutes........ Thanks guys. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

We were staying at the parador in Tortosa and wanted a change from the mediocre food and service there. We walked by this restaurant and it looked nice. We checked the menu and reviews online and decided to make reservations. One of the best decisions we made during our five week stay in Spain. My wife is a vegetarian and struggles to find things to eat, much less really good food (she lives mostly on tortillas Españolas). We shared a very good burrata salad and artichokes with a hint of chile. Both were very good but the highlight was her pasta on the wheel. Hers was vegetarian pasta prepared tableside in a cheese wheel that was flamed first. I had pulpo (octopus). Plus pistachio dessert. Everything was excellent including the bottle of Montsant wine recommended by Alvaro, our waiter. His service was impeccable and the atmosphere is nice. Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff and the “menu de noche” was great. Possible to choose between different options. Very good wine selection! to be recommended!
